by Rob Goodwin @REALRobGoodwinYikes, SmackDown Live at the moment! Anyone who is currently still forcing themselves to tune into the Blue Brand I’m sure feels exactly the same way - what’s the point! Take the go home show for example, what was the point of even airing that show? It feels like the same show we have been witnessing now for the last 5 week’s or so. It’s lazy from creative and it’s uninspired! Take the current WWE Championship picture - and this is nothing against Jinder Mahal, he’s doing what he can, but he was thrust too quickly into a scene he simply could not hang in - Jinder is currently laughing at pictures of Shinsuke Nakamura on the titantron whilst The Singh Brothers fall about in fits of Oscar winning fake laughter! It’s cringeworthy! Couple with this the fact that SmackDown have put on what can only be described as distinctly average PPVs since the Superstar Shake-Up in Money in the Bank and Battleground, they certainly need to pull something out of the bag here! Don’t get me wrong it’s not all doom and gloom, though during all Jinder and Dolph segments from the past few weeks it certainly seems that way, The New Day and The Usos feud has spawned some absolutle classics, and the stuff between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon is brilliant! So, with a slight breath of trepidation, here are my predictions for Hell in a Cell 2017 - a PPV that simply HAS to be better! |
